Catch the Christmas Ship and Choir at Ballard Locks Dec. 16

"Tradition wears a snowy beard, romance is always young. "

- John Greenleaf Whittier.

Each year, Seattle's own Argosy Cruises organizes the Christmas Ship, which sails from Seattle, through the Ballard Locks, around Lake Washington, and back to Seattle.

There are three ways to experience the Christmas Ship and Choir:

  1. Ride on the lead boat.
  2. Follow the lead boat.
  3. View from shore.

To view from shore in Ballard, head to the Ballard Locks on Saturday, December 16 around 3 PM.  More info here and here.
