For those who are unable to open this to read....the second head was a decapitated deer it had gotten in an antler fight with. It was NOT growing a second head :-/
I'm just here for the angry anti-hunting comments. Y'all didnt disappoint.
PLEASE!....For the love of GOD!..DO NOT ...and I repeat.....DO NOT comment on a story that you have NOT EVEN read..FFS!....
How many here didn't read the article? By the looks of it, about 75% of you... 🙄
Gabby Nielson - maybe you could go after the ones that are already dead???
I would not be eating any of that! It would definitely be a cool mount though.
Hey, does this mean he's a Kentucky Head Hunter! 😋
Why wouldn't you leave it be.
Clearly see these are 2 different deer,
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?
Ugh. I could do without this story no matter how it happened.
(click the pic to view the image in its entirety)
Unique and gruesome are too different things. Sadly this is not unique, both animals just usually die. But it is gruesome
Oh man....and I was gonna make such a great comment about mutant hillbillies and Kentucky.....
Go home, you won. Lol
This is so sad
Wonder how long the buck had the other head of a buck on him for. Idk if I would eat the bucks meat because of disease. I could be wrong though.
Anna Tran goodness 😲
Thanks to the lovely folx in the comment section, I know why it had 2 heads
That thing could sniff TWICE the amount of high powered cocaine than a regular deer with only one head, and could instantly get twice as high!!!!!!
In other news: hunters are still gross.
I’ll be darned.

Could people have a little more compassion? Regardless of the circumstances, an 18 year old child was shot. Federal Way is our neighboring community. Zip codes don’t define the quality or worth of someone’s life.
What are the odds it was an illegal immigrant. Could be wrong...
Someone in our neighbor good group page wrote that the woman is ok and it was an accident and it went through her boob. They must know her. Makes all of us feel better it wasn't part of violence. After all it is Felony Way.

Now if they could just make it self sufficient.
As soon as the number crunchers at the state level figure out this is cutting into their livelihood and the state coffers, the state will screw it all up to make it a loosing proposition and the passengers will go back to riding the state ferries. Inslee doesn’t care, just a photo op.
I bet he wouldn't have had all those weapons if Seattle had just posted those warning signs.
I call dibs on those 10 round. Saiga12 mags please.
Oh yes it’s a semiautomatic shotgun so 1639 doesn’t apply. Lol.
Can i add one more "its old news"

Are there no editors left at The Stranger or what? Is this an article or an overly indulgent autobiography?
This sounds like a pretty atypical experience. Also, marketing in tech is the lowest tier and the first to be laid off.
I find it amusing when there is mention of the only way to get promoted was taking another internal job, I mean isn’t that always the case with any company? I mean you aren’t going to get promoted to do the same thing.
Hopefully you don’t mind not being stable and starting over 🤣
Holy crap. someone put it in to words. As a person whose tech company got bought out, finding the right niche for me to fit in to in the DevOps world has been really challenging - up until the last few months, I had no idea how good, evil, scatterbrained, on-point, punctual, lazy, honest, and deceptive recruiters can be.
The layoff stories here have a striking familiarity to the lies we were told by the company that bought the one I worked for, and the morale, expressions, and feelings of everyone involved. "Sorry, it's out of our control!" is the kind of shit you hear when you're getting let go through the abstraction layer of an HR manager. CEOs and board members can fire people from the safety of their recliners, pregnant or not, feeding kids or not, industry veteran or not.
It's terrible that we're both helped and hurt by the disconnects we use to operate our professional lives.
People of color put up with this all the time!! Man up dude! https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/11/14/georgia-lawmaker-protesting-over-voter-counts-said-she-was-arrested-because-shes-black/?utm_term=.64aea4a3cc53
This article mentions an axe attack in Ballard. Can we have more on that?
This is absolutely shameful. No candidate should experience that kind of harassment.
Where's the proof? (Thats how we do it, right white people?)
Sooo, from the perspective of a candidate who stated in her local paper interview she was running to stand up to the growing tide of white nationalism and the alt-right, which even the "dying, fake" NYTimes has been reporting is becoming a nightmare for local police forces...When I sent screenshots of some of the harassment I received after a Yakima Herald story on my support of I-940 that really riled up the white supremacists, my local paper did nothing to make corrections to the story or release the full video of my interview so that my statements could be viewed in context. They would only release the full video of my statements if the harassment continued. Well of course it continued. I was re-educated by many of my neighbors that the Civil War was the War of Northern Aggression. Not fun to have to deal with this kind of thing, especially when some of the folks have profiles of their whole families armed with guns, but I took screen-shots if it was anything personal rather than a "policy" opinion/statement...or just deleted it when it just became stupid repetitive name-calling, "dumb bitch" gets easy to ignore quickly. Sometimes things were just so weird, like being called a "white honky bitch" in the newspaper comment section, still don't get that...or some very descriptive allegory about testicles, which when you clicked on the profile, there were strange pictures of Confederate flags and...weed. Sometimes I just had to turn it around and make light of it, "See, even Confederates love weed!" End of day, let supporters support you. Haters gonna hate. And if it gets beyond what you feel you should have to stand, call the police. But don't drop out. I believe an African-American candidate in Vermont had to drop out it got so bad...so these kinds of things, unfortunately, come with the territory. It takes thick skin to run.
Good. This guy is a fascist who openly admits his admiration for Charles "White People Are The Genetically Superior Race" Murray, and has issued calls to:
> round up people unhoused people into concentration camps
> increase use of police violence against unhoused people
> Slash public funding for homeless service providers
> hire 150 more cops (in addition to the 200 already being hired) to use more police violence against vulnerable people
He is also connected to:
> the fascist-lite Washington Policy Center (our local Koch brothers-funded lobby group) -- he's a board member
> out fascists and neo-Nazis at Safe Seattle
> (through Safe Seattle) to "Respect Washington", a WA-based fascist organization who recently authored a report called "The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Aliens of Washingtonians" and calls for the round-up and mass deportation of immigrants
> a shady organization called the "Discovery Institute" which is also a nasty far-right group that, similarly to Charles Murray, has a penchant for "white people are genetically superior" eugenics. He's also a board member there.
And I got all that just from 20 minutes of searching around Facebook. And you're the journalists. I'm doing your job for you, for free!
Katie, can you please stop giving cover for fascists and "libertarians" who happen to love eugenics and killing homeless people? I understand that it can feel super great to be flown around the country and given access to the Supreme Edgelord chambers of the "intellectual dark web" and the "Heterodox Academy" (is there any more edgelord, fedora-tipping name for an organization?) where alt-right trolls and eugenicists complain about being silenced. But when these people have a platform, much less the power of the state, shit gets bad.
Never thought I'd see the day that the Stranger issues a love story to a fascist, giving them cover under "socially liberal, fiscally conservative".
EDIT: Oh yeah, about his wife, who is a shitty bully:
She was called out online for doxxing a **child** of someone criticizing Rufo on Facebook. She published the school and age of the person's child in retaliation for criticizing her husband -- and guess what! She was working on his campaign.
Fuck them and fuck you for printing this disgusting apologist story. Why fact-check, Katie? Might as well just walk up to the nearest Nazi and publish their detailed claims of "white genocide".
Police should look in Robert Kaminski. This guy is a hate crime waiting to happen if you read his comments. Good gawd. Someone stop him before he hurts somebody.

"I think in general, when you look at history, whenever a group of people are told to stay in their lane, it has never been appropriate ... As far as injury prevention, this is in fact 'our lane.'" ... See MoreSee Less
Mental health control is their lane. And they've been abusing that with more and more drugs at earlier and earlier ages.
Deflecting to the firearm is disingenuous. The NRA is not pulling the triggers.
Doctors need to stay within their trained specialties.
Docs, remove the splinter in your own eye. John Hopkins study found that 250,000 Americans died from medical errors last year.
My doctor asks that question she is instantly fired!
Nope! It’s none of your business!!
I think maybe they should worry about over-prescribing people's medicine
72,000 opioid deaths last, that is in your lane doctors.
Your job is to patch up injury not prevention
No it’s not
Wow, all the “docs not doing their job”. Really? Anything to deflect from your stupid gun obsession.
This came up a couple years ago. I wonder what the doctors thought about that... I mean the 'other' doctors.
The doctors refuse to look at the herd immunity thesis of gun ownership.
The majority of mass shooters were on pychosis inducing drugs, that is in your lane doctors.
So gun control is not in a doctor's lane. More deaths are caused by car accidents, but I don't see doctors screaming about vehicular laws. Also I don't believe that a doctor would want me, an NRA member to tell them how to do their jobs. I will control my on guns thank you.
No, no it's not.... Start doing your jobs better and you'll save a lot more lives than any law abiding gun owners take. Not to mention all the pills poisoning our streets
