|Robert Shrewbury Sr., 94|Here is a message from Fremont's Western Towboat Company: It is with a heavy heart to relay the news that we lost our founder, father, and grandfather Robert Shrewsbury Sr. this weekend to heaven. Grandpa Bob as us grand kids always called him founded Western Towboat in 1948 with a dream and one small single screw tug. As a family we are proud and glad we get to carry on his tradition of a solid work ethic, fairness to customers, and a great appreciation of the great people who make this company what it is. The work everyone does in and off the boats here at Western Towboat is a direct reflection of his values and standards and it shows everyday when people see our equipment, we cannot thank all of you enough. Bob Sr. was 94 and had a great life, great friends and most of all left a great company of people and tugs in his wake as he crossed the final bar. He will be greatly missed but his memory and legacy will live on in Puget Sound for a long time to come as the trademark blue and yellow tugboat yachts sail along the waters we call home. Thank you all for the kind notes and messages we have received as a family and company.#remember ... See MoreSee Less
